We had the opportunity to interview Mr. Masao Mikami, CEO of Macma Co., Ltd., thanks to an introduction from a consultant affiliated with the Tokyo Chamber of Commerce.

We had the pleasure of interviewing Mr. Masao Mikami, the CEO of Macma Co., Ltd., who shared his company's SEO challenges and his interest in our product, Kafkai. This interest led to an online meeting and product demo, after which Mr. Mikami graciously agreed to this interview. The following are his personal views.

Iqbal: Could you give us an overview of your business and your role? Please tell us more about Macma's main operations and your responsibilities.

Mr. Mikami: MacMa was founded in 2007 as a "Tea Time Innovation Company." Our development theme is "Design & Function," focusing on creating tableware that combines unique design and functionality. Our main products include coffee ware, such as coffee drippers and servers for consumers, as well as tea ware, like teapots and drink bottles.

Iqbal: Could you explain the challenges you faced before adopting Kafkai and how you dealt with them?

Mr. Mikami: Despite our flagship products being consumer goods, our primary sales channels were wholesalers and specialty stores for household goods, with less than 1% of our sales coming from B2C. Last year, we started focusing on enhancing our presence on social media platforms like Instagram and revamped our online shopping site to be more user-friendly for general consumers.

Iqbal: Now that you've adopted Kafkai, could you share your thoughts? How does Kafkai compare to any other tools or systems you've previously used, and how do you see it benefiting your company? What is your opinion of Kafkai's support staff?

Mr. Mikami: Although we've only been using Kafkai for a month, we initially struggled to generate the kind of articles we had hoped for. However, thanks to the direct support from the Kafkai team, we've now been able to produce highly accurate articles. We’re optimistic that we can increase the frequency of blog updates using Kafkai.
